TPCAR Rookie of the Year

Tacoma Pierce County of Realtors has named Realtor Cyrus Bonnett as this year’s Rookie of the Year. Cyrus Bonnett has been a Realtor for a year after transitioning out of a military career at JBLM. He is already a TPCAR Sales Achievement Award winner. Most of his military career was spent with 3rd brigade 2 ID in Ft. Lewis WA. He acquired special skills to fly UAV’s, call in air strikes from fighter jets and attack helicopters, and call for fire from artillery.

His job in the military involved high expectations to perform on the spot and trained him to thrive in constant change “I truly believe the army values not only helped me succeed in my military career, they help me as a person and as a successful Realtor!” says Cyrus.

Cyrus is currently specializing in residential real estate with a special focus on helping fellow servicemen and women purchase their first homes.

“Naturally getting started in Real Estate wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be,” says Cyrus. “But I realized how much I enjoyed the job and decided this was going to be my career. I never would have succeeded in real estate if it were not for the tools, staff, and support WPP provided. Today I feel due to my own creativity, business model, and the help of the company that I will stick with real estate as a career for life. I cannot imagine doing anything else!

The TPCAR Rookie of the year award was established in 2007 to recognize those new to the real estate industry that support the REALTOR® association, are involved in their community, and further their professionalism by earning REALTOR® designations, exhibit a commitment to education, and ethical business practices. This is the third year in a row a Windermere Professional Partners agent has won the Rookie of the Year Award, past winners are Jim Hoiland (2011) and Corey Matney (2010).
