GroupThis fall, Windermere Professional Partners is proud to offer support to one of University Place’s leading family support organizations. The Families Unlimited Network has been the leading organization in University Place providing support to families since 2003.

OUR VISION

We believe: We are blessed to be a blessing. We are transformed as we live in community with those we serve. Every person has value in the eyes of God. Serving our families with compassion and respect preserves their dignity and sense of worth. Positive change occurs when surrounded by supportive people and services.

We will: Act as an agent of change for families we serve. Be a voice for those we serve. Model and sustain healthy relationships. Partner with others in support of families. Mobilize a faith-based response to need in our community.

The Families Unlimited Network Food Bank provides at minimum a 3-day supply of food for individuals and families of Pierce County.

They are unique in that they offer a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy and eggs, fresh meat, and common staples. Families are able to shop once every 30 days. F.U.N. is a privately owned organization that receives donations from companies like Trader Joes, Safeway, FredMeyer, Lowes and the Home Depot just to name a few. With the support of the community they are able to provide meals to families and children in need. In the summer they provide backpacks full of food to children in our communities who are on free or reduced lunches during the school year. Many of these children get their only meals from the schools they attend and it’s so important to make sure they have food throughout the school breaks.

Pic 4Pic 7Over the past month and a half, Windermere Professional Partners held a food drive to benefit the Families Unlimited Network Food Bank in University Place. WPP Brokers collected food from their clients, friends and neighbors in the surrounding communities. The food drive was an astounding success! We gathered over 2500 pounds of food and $924 in cash donations and The Families Unlimited Network Foodbank will be able to provide 1950 meals with the food we were able to deliver!
